The organising committee of the 1st International Early Engines Conference are delighted to announce the publication of Part 2 of the Proceedings of the IEEC from May 2017. Published with the Newcomen Society, as Volume 88, Issue 1 (2018) of the International Journal for the History of Engineering & Technology, Part 2 includes a series of excellent papers which were first presented at The Ironworks, Elsecar in 2017. The inaugural International Early Engines Conference
