    May 2021 – IEEC2 In March 2020 we announced that, due to the impact of Coronavirus – COVID-19 we were postponing the 2nd International Early Engines Conference until November 2020. Following this announcement, and the development of the international emergency, we received much supportive and useful feedback from intended speakers and registered delegates on their likely availability and travel and attendance considerations. Given the current situation internationally, there was a strong consensus for reconvening the Conference in May 2021 (rather than November 2020), i.e. a year after it was first intended to run.   • IEEC2 – 2021 – Announcement & Call for Papers

    Preliminary Announcement and Call for Papers Building on the success of IEEC 1 at The Ironworks, Elsecar in May 2017, we are delighted to announce that IEEC2 will be held at the Black Country Living Museum (BCLM), Dudley, West Midlands in May 2021 (postponed from May 2020). The event will start at noon on Friday and finish at noon on Sunday and it is our hope and expectation that it will run concurrently with the BCLM’s “Red by Night” event which involves many of the museums engines being in steam and working into the night.
